We're looking for a Relationship Director at Small Army to help lead a high technology account. As a hybrid between a senior level Account Executive and Planner, the Relationship Director at Small Army is a trusted strategic advisor for Clients - they turn to and rely on the Relationship Director in making strategic decisions. The Director is also an influencer within the Agency and will help in setting Agency direction, Client goals, and staff growth. This rising member of the senior leadership team is expected to deliver ideas on behalf of both Clients and the Agency. They should also be instrumental in ensuring the Relationship Management team is comprised of eager learners and contributors. 

MUST HAVES:

  • At least 10 years experience of partnering with Clients to help their business grow.
  • Experience working within high-tech/software industry (Service Assurance experience a plus).
  • Great attitude, willingness to roll up your sleeves, and a passion for collaboration.

STRATEGIST:

  • Generates ideas and strategies that help drive the Client's business (and help Small Army grow)
  • Loves to dive deep into their Client's business, their industry, and what is on the cutting edge
  • Intimate knowledge of customer audience(s) and uses knowledge to drive new ideas and strategies
  • Thinks of new ideas and willingly expresses them

BUDGETER:

  • Keenly focused on profitability and can manage/direct use of internal resources and Client efficiencies
  • Keeps on top of Client retainers and facilitates an open dialogue with Clients regarding said retainers

LEADER:

  • Directs teams, including those they manage, and other colleagues to reach goals
  • Mentor and trusted leader of the team
  • Partners with Senior Leadership team to review financials, set goals, and determine how to help the Agency grow both fiscally and culturally
  • Engaged in New Business activity

Description

Small Army is looking for a mid-level copywriter who creates things that do not yet exist.

Knowing everyday media (TV, print, radio, outdoor, social, web) is a given, we're looking to create ad-like things that will engage and motivate viewers in unconventional ways -- online  and off.

What You Need

Candidate must have 3-5 years in the industry; have the ability to concisely and effectively convey those ideas through simple executions. This person must also be able to create engaging long copy, since this is often part of the mix for a successful integrated campaign.

Desired skills & experience include:

  • Strong writing and conceptual skills
  • Interested in new technology and mediums
  • A great portfolio and a desire to succeeed 
  • A positive attitude

We are looking for interns who want to gain experience in the world of ad agency video editing and post production by working with the team at Small Army.  Along with basic administrative tasks, working side-by-side with the post production team on client projects will provide invaluable insight into the many layers of a successful agency.

 

What You Need

Candidates must possess a can-do attitude and be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.  A strong understanding of video editing tools (at least one of these apps: FCP7, FCPX, Premiere.  Bonus points for knowing Photoshop and AfterEffects) and the Mac operating system is necessary for the intern position.  These positions are perfect for college students or recent graduates interested in exploring the world of advertising.  Please note, this is an unpaid internship.
